I see the TP adjustment as an indirect DPS gain to be honest.

It was a "BALANCE" overhaul because warrior gameplay didn't fit with the meta of the game and in other to make warrior viable they needed to increase its defense in other to balance to game...hey guess what that sound like mmmm idk PALADIN.
So you want a5-8s to be pre-2.1 coil? Not really picking up what you're putting down here.
You got lost.
Current PLD issue is that compare to the other 2 tank specially WAR pld it's a 0 besides the come, when warrior suffer this situation in 2.0 that the class was exclude and cripple for endgame they buff them motherfucker to point they are now. Now paladin is marking a 2.0 warrior and all they get is more tp.
You say warrior got a defensive overhaul as if you where trying to make a point on something, and to reply to your statement I said that It wasn't a Defense fix it was a balance fix.
Now we have a OP tank with OP dps and OP utility
And a tank with laughable utility, good overkill unnecessary defense and horrible DPS
Let's talk how actually the third tank has a extra defense + over paladin and how they do a BIGGER much substantial Damage.
That's the current unbalance.
Paladin DPS is not the problem--encounters that require extremely high DPS and offer no incentive for a "tanky" tank are. If and when damage taken by tanks starts going up again, we'll probably see PLD come back to center stage. In fact, if they make high damage fights the norm, we'll probably see PLD-DRK be the preferred combo.
That said, I really hope this doesn't also mean they're ignoring PLD enmity issues. Even with all the tricks in the book, and even if I swap out my fending accessories for slaying, I sometimes can't hold enmity off similarly-geared DPS (looking at DRG, SMN, and BLM in particular).
EDIT: Also, I'd like it if they used the current philosophy for some fights, but made high tank damage the norm for others. I would enjoy the DPS races a lot more if they weren't a constant in every single fight. So have one fight where you need full Slaying, DPS stance, save your CDs for the tankbusters, and the next fight need full Fending, Tank stance, cooldown rotation, and praying to RNGesus that you aren't hit with a critical strike.

TP changes buffed for the better will make it where Plds do not hit TP starvation as fast, but we do not know what these TP changes actually mean at the sametime for Pld. It could mean anything, but TP Starvation only really matters in long encounters with no relax or rest periods to regain TP. In that sense it will be a slight dps increase, but most of the time it won't do much in most encounters.
Anyone else ready for 3-4 more months of PLD DPS threads?

Welp. Glad I hung onto 4 weeks worth of Eso because it's looking more and more like I'll be taking up the axe.
Seriously, do the devs even play the class?
Honestly, I'd probably go DRK or WAR but I don't really like the aesthetics. They look pretty cool, don't get me wrong, but I'm a sword and shield kind of guy. I don't really like axes and DRK abilities look a bit too 'evil' for the sort of character I want to play. >_>
