    Because how war was treated in 2.1 ? No? Do we forgot the massive overhaul they got and how PLD it's been treated?

    That was a defensive overhaul that was a straight-up requirement to clear the content. PLD can clear content right now. People just unanimously don't like to use it because its inefficient.

    As sad as this makes me it does not suprise me anyone who played FFXI pre expansion knows SE doesnt care about paladin much, in that game ninja tanks were gods in comparison to paladins they could do great dps evade 95% of attacks and debuff paladins did no dps took massive damage and in exchange they could cast 2-3 heals per mana bar....now here we are paladins can heal nice have great defense, but both other tanks are superior we can pretend they arent, but they are, more utility more OT and MT dps....and this is from a FFXI PLD and a FFXIV PLD

    Even back in FFXI, people asked more and more to buff PLD's damage.
    And even back then, I thought that it was stupid. For me, PLD don't need to lean on the DPS side, but on the healing side. Make it so that a good PLD doesn't need a dedicated healer.

    Which, by the way, was possible in FFXI, either with Ochain + Shield Mastery + DNC Subjob. Or by combining bonus to cure potency/cure received, and items that gives you MP back whenever you take damage.

    If Pld doesn't get any "dps" changes, then it better actually have the ability to increase party dps if not its own dps. If not, it's a dead class for endgame. TP changes really don't impress me much, and does very little to me. Pld will still be a viable class, but with no dps changes will always remain distant second rate class in the game's meta currently.

    "Paladin's main problem is the compatibility with current contents." Do the devs play the game like we do? Pld's lack of dps is a main part of that, and is built into the class by the devs themselves. I feel like the devs just don't recognize it's a design flaw, and will always hurt Plds in endgame content in the future. If the devs are not going to change Plds dps then I better see HUGE utility changes to the point they seem OP, and those utilities actually do make it were groups reconsider about having a Pld in thier group versus the other two tanks.

    Idk I am just tired of fighting for Pld buffs, and already had to wait so long, and atm it only seems like minor changes. TP changes...kay? I hope that is lowering the TP cost of Shield Bash. But not even a mention of enmity changes for Pld, if I got that I would actually be half way happy, but nothing was said about it, really? I'll back off I guess till 3.1 is released to see if there are other changes to Pld. If not, I will likely rant about how BS this is, and just say screw it, nothing will change, and start maining Warrior, if the devs won't change anything into the right direction for Pld.

    And sorry for the already short rant. This is just has been frustrating for a long time now.

    I see the TP adjustment as an indirect DPS gain to be honest.

    TP changes buffed for the better will make it where Plds do not hit TP starvation as fast, but we do not know what these TP changes actually mean at the sametime for Pld. It could mean anything, but TP Starvation only really matters in long encounters with no relax or rest periods to regain TP. In that sense it will be a slight dps increase, but most of the time it won't do much in most encounters.

    It was a "BALANCE" overhaul because warrior gameplay didn't fit with the meta of the game and in other to make warrior viable they needed to increase its defense in other to balance to game...hey guess what that sound like mmmm idk PALADIN.

    So you want a5-8s to be pre-2.1 coil? Not really picking up what you're putting down here.
