Specified Clan Quests for Each Race.

I just want an opinion on and idea of mine, I want to pitch the idea of specified clan quests for each race. Each race has two clans so that would be two story arks for each race. There are small description about each clan when you create a character, what I would like to see is a description of the lore about each clan. For example the Au Ra consist of the Raen: A clan that remains secluded and peaceful. And the Xaela: A clan that is filled with hunters and war. It would be nice to see these have more depth and us get to understand the clans we decided to be apart of, and earn "Clan Reputation Points" as a currency to buy gear/ mounts only available to members of the clan we decided. I would like to hear opinions on this idea!

I don't like the idea of acquiring points to buy clan specific gear and mounts but I do like the idea of learning more of the lore about our races in-game.

Something with a story? Text? Lore-friendly content you can do solo? Forget it girl, they already scrapped classes by creating jobs that start at level 30, don't even think about race quests. All that matters is Savage now and all the races should 'git gud'.

All that matters is savage? Last I checked were getting a new patch full of purely "casual" content, or content for non-hardcore raiders if you will.

Nothing of the casual content of 3.1 seems like a Final Fantasy system outside explorations. Square isn't doing anything outside of MSQ to deliver what they promised: a FF themepark MMORPG. But I won't go further, this topic isn't for that.


@Stolen_tears I really like the idea. It's known that some races (like the Xaela) had their own type of mounts and other race "artifacts", so it would be great if we could have them trough quests just like the Beast Tribes one. This could go even deeper, allowing us to choose between a series of quest lines to create a completely unique storyline for our character, something that could affect how some NPCs see you (like changing Silvairre's behavier on the Archer's questline for example).

Sadly, I don't believe they would implement anything like this though.

oh really? some of us happen to think Savage is a far cry from good content and refuse to do it.

This is why I would like the opportunity to learn more about or races/clans. And as for reputation why don't you see that as a good feature?

I'd love something like this seeing as my characters backstory pretty much makes it that she knows nothing of Sea Wolf culture.
