Phial of Fantasia??

Please forgive me if this is in the wrong forum, but I have a question of the Phial of Fantasia potion. I'm a lalafell right now and I'm wanting to use the potion to change my race. Does doing so make it to where I can't use any of my old gear/armor? Or does it automatically work with the change?

You will no longer be able to wear racial gear, like the Lalafell starter clothes. All other gear can be worn just like before
Unless you change gender too. In that case there is an NPC ingame that will trade in female gear for the male version of it though, so don't worry^^
