Krile (potential role in 3.1 and beyond)

In 3.1 we will finally get the answer for Minfilia's question way back in 2.1

Krile is here.

After we celebrated and gave everyone cheese, let's look at the questions that her arrival raises. Because there is a lot.

Is she just a Student of Baldesion or someone more important? With a name like Krile Mayer Baldesion she might be the Teacher of Baldesion.

Is she related to Papalymo?

Is she evil? She is a lala so she might be.

When and how did she wake up from her coma?

Does she know what Nabriales did to the Island of Baldesion?

What is she doing here now?

Is she on Elidibus' payroll?

Why is she so damned cute?

Since we have zero context or knowledge about XIV Krile beyond that she's a Student of Baldesion, was in contact with Minfilia prior to the Isle of Val's destruction and being put into a coma, and is apparently a lalafell, I'm just going to leave this here as the answer to any and every hypothesis anyone can come up with:

Jokes aside while it is true that we don't have much to talk about just yet, beyond: "Yaaaay, Krile is finally here" We now have a thread to dump all the Krile related stuff once we have actually seen her in action.

Kriles current story somewhat mirrors Final Fantasy V, where ExDeath uses the Void to destroy several areas, including Castle Tycoon, which results in Lenna being MIA for a brief while, only to return possessed by a Demon of the Rift... So it is entirely possible Krile has been possessed in a similar fashion... I kind of expect Minfilia to fill Lennas shoes, as far as that references goes, though...

I'm guessing they've actually introduced Krile to try and tie over the Ivalice Espers into the game, some of which were based on past villains. We've already partly had Belias revealed in the Summoner questline, and with Tiamat revealing that more Primals/Eikons were sealed away by the Allag, I expect we'll see the Ivalice group eventually, what with the ties to the Ascians, or just the fact that they're the next logical step after we've gone through the main six elements... Exodus, the Judge-Sal was based on ExDeath (and Zeromus, the Condemner was based on.... Zeromus... Hope that's what the moon scene will eventually be about...), who in Final Fantasy V was originally sealed in the Great Forest of Moore... Given the Allags disdain for religion, I doubt they called the Twelveswood such... Moment the main scenario takes us to the Twelveswood, I'm getting ready to call it...

Oh, and they better make a splinter joke, that would tickle me pink...

Unless she predates Minfilia as the first known Echo-User, her having the title will not happen, her having the osition of leading the Scions however? THAT is a possibility.

I don't think she will die. It's becoming such a trend for people to assume that main characters will die, ever since of what happened recently in the MSQ.

What's weird about Krile is her name. It's not a name fitting for a Lalafell at all.
Although, Krile's japanese name (in FF V) is Kururu. I wonder how the localization team will handle that.
