I remember people were wondering what her class/job is.
In the story, she says that she is able to speak with animals.
Is this some kind of hint ?
Beastmaster ?

Astrologian? I know her outfit is based on FFV Krile's WHM outfit but in FF3 this is the Seer/Shaman/Devout outfit which is thematically closest to AST. And she's from Sharlayan.
Isn't that Matoya's crystal eye?
I think she'll end up like Tataru and have a non-combative role in the scions.
Im pretty sure Krile can fight. She was rather embarrassed that she was able to do so little in the scuffle in the lowlands, blaming being disoriented by the Echo Vision she had along with the WoL.
Curious how she says each persons echo has different traits. I wonder what that means as far as ours and Minfilia's.
Well, strictly from Japanese audio from in game, I concluded that :
- Her name is Kururu; the JP version make no reference, implied or explicit, that she has an alternative name like Krile.
- Kururu was a student of Sharlyan Royal Academy when Alphinaud and Alisae entered at age 10. She was surprised at the genius level of the twin and became the mentor for Alphinaud.
-Apparently, she and Minfillia were subjects of study at Baldesion, hence she became such a good friend with Minfillia.
-During her time at Matoya's cave, Kururu revealed that her Echo can "see" or "sense" traces of aetherial usage if she knows what specifics to focus on. Therefore, Kururu borrows the Crystal Eye, the ancient-Crystal-of-Light, to amplify her ability and trace leftovers of Y'shtola's teleportation spell with it.
-It is heavily implied that she is very knowledgeable in the field of Echo study and Hydaelyn's power as Kururu was able to identify Matoya's Crystal Eye as earlier generation of Crystal of Light; a fact that Y'shtola was unaware of, even though she had spent so much time with Matoya.
I need to play FFV now.
