That was my point. Touting it as an "early adopter's perk" is laughable when you consider that people who had already been playing the game for a couple of years didn't get it. It was a bonus to get more early box sales of a re-release of a game many people already had and didn't need to purchase again.
Yeah, the "early adopter's perk" isn't the right way to put it, it was strictly a pre-order bonus. Now, hate to be that person, but if the pre-order items were that important to a person ( those who were coming from 1.0), it was just a matter of coughing up the money for the re-release.That was my point. It does suck a bit, but that's how these things go sometimes. Overall I'd say that SE gave 1.0 players a pretty good deal for their loyalty (discounted pricing (for legacy), free ARR game, letting us keep our characters, etc. ).
