Sadly only trial and error can help you find your home. But a suggestion is if you find a FC that interests you just check how many people online at certain peak times (Company Profile) so you can decide for youself...

I would say social FCs with 100+ members and at peak are like 15 online aren't worth it if you look for something chatty (to keep FC chat alive you need 25 and hopefully not half of them afk)...
You can also maybe try something smaller they usually also easier take you along for content and offer help because its family like in FCs with around 50 members.

But also consider we are recently right before patch so many people don't know what to do till new content hits and just semi-afk could be sitting it out till wednesday is a good plan
