    Suggestion: EXP Bank

So I was thinking, why doesn't SE add a way to store EXP and give it to other jobs/classes the player has to help level? I think this would go really well with SE's promise to add EXP to the level 50 dungeons (which I think they said we were getting in 3.1) and help with the annoyance of accidentally of completing your Challenge Logs while doing end game grinds like EX Roulette and Alexander.

    It could work like this:
In order unlock the EXP Bank you would need to first do a quest that unlocks when you get your first class/job to level 50 or when you bet ARR's 2.0 MSQ(probably in Mor Dhona or something).

They you can set it to save the EXP you gain via certain scenarios: Quests, FATEs, Leves, Duty Finder, Challenges,

Then, like when you withdraw gil from your retainer(s), you can select an amount of EXP to give to give to the class/job you are currently playing as. It would only go one-way, with no "refunds" for EXP used.
Players can only "withdraw" a certain amount of EXP depending on their level: Levels 1-49 can withdraw EXP equal to half the amount of total amount of EXP need to level up that level, while levels 50-59 can only withdraw a third of the EXP needed to level up.

For example, a level 1 Gladiator/Paladin can only withdraw 150 EXP from the bank until their next level up, while at level 30, they can only can withdraw 81,250. At 55, they can only withdraw 739,200 EXP.

You would have three types of EXP storage, Battle EXP, Crafting EXP, and Gathering EXP. You can only use the correct EXP stored on the correct classes.

For example, a Blacksmith and Alchemist can only get EXP from the Crafting EXP bank, but a Conjurer/White Mage can't, they would have to get EXP from the Battle EXP Bank.

Each of the three EXP banks can only store 1 million EXP at time.

Additionally, there could also be a Universal EXP Bank that you can transfer EXP from the other banks into. EXP from this bank can be used on any class/job but once used, the player will be locked out of using it for 4 IRL hours. Additionally, the conversion system for putting EXP from the other banks is 2:1, e.i. only half the EXP put into the Universal EXP Bank is usable. with the remaining half lost. The Universal EXP bank can only hold 500,000 EXP.

I would also like to suggest that they add EXP to the current end game content now, instead of waiting for 4.0. That way, level 60 characters can grind for EXP while also grinding for tomes and gear in EX Roulette and Alexander. I also think this would really help those of us who are burnt out from grinding in the dungeons and FATEs and have been doing so since 2.0. >w>

Interesting idea, my only thought to add is there would need to be a cap on the amount of xp you can get per level 50+ or have the xp gained not be that great. Sadly if not the people who are botters would love this as they could level up multiple jobs with just 1 bot.

But then the amount of people doing leveling dungeons would decrease. Everyone who has a 60 would just run EX roulette or just use their tank/healer for fast queues and hoard EXP for their DPS classes

I would agree on it having a cap or limit on exp say 5-10% of the EXP gained at 60 is stored but I suppose even like with the rested exp let it be proportional to your current level. Perhaps 1 or 2 full weeks of max exp cap could equal into 1 level of another class. Be it lv 29-30 or 59-60.

So that would mean that those players that have no desire to play tank or healer would queue faster...seems like a win win

Perhaps if there was some sort of exp conversion for certain levels. Lower levels will gain less exp, but still gain some nonetheless. Higher levels will gain more depending on how close to the cap they are. I'd say around lvl 50 the exp withdrawls would be more equal to what was placed into that class level.

I like the core of this idea, for saving exp, but I think a more fair route would be to provide a service to exchange EXP into the Resting bonus or an additional bonus EXP source. To just give it to another class is a little undeserving in a sense, but allowing your new class to gain its OWN EXP faster would be very nice! Especially since leveling a class from the start can easily burn all your resting bonus within the first few levels (22 for me. ;-; Damn you archer)

    Eh idk about this.

I think you should have to actually play the class you're trying to level to...well, level it.

crafting sure, as theres not really much difference between the crafters, rotations are essentially the same.

DoW/ DoM, just no. people should level those as they are and learn their class. would anyone want a healer or tank who has never touched the class outside of job quests? i think not

Something to think about though is if your only using the boost to level a class your already leveling say with daily roulette, its not going to change how you play the class. I know I only did ninja with daily roulette and I can play with no issue. Besides its not going to be much different than other people who only leveled tanks and healers by fate grinding. They would be found out and I am sure swiftly booted for bad gameplay. They would only be hurting themselves.
