It comes down to this. It would be nice to have it, but ignoring people doesn't always work. If they constantly harass you, even if you block them, they can technically still bother the crap out of you. (i.e. Emote spam around you constantly; stand around you doing questionable things, etc). Even reporting, depending on the back log of tickets, can take a while before the GM's can get to your situation. Even growing a thicker skin doesn't stop people from being complete a-holes. It's not being super oversensitive. There are situations that happen that go way out of line. SE should make the block feature better. It'll be nice to have.

And no, people opposed to this have opinions too, but I wouldn't go out my way to block someone just for expressing their thoughts on a subject like this. Sure, I may not agree with all the posters in this thread, but I'm not be like "OMG Y U NO AGREE WITH ME?!?!? BLOCKED!" That's just not right. >->;;
