    Wildfire Visual Feedback

    Hello everyone!

    I think Wildfire should have its animation reworked/redone. It is very hard to tell when the ability goes off and really easy to miss how much damage it did. For such an important and powerful ability the animation should have more impact and nicer visuals.... Not only this is a cosmetic/visual issue but also a QOL issue.

    What do you guys think?

    I've been leveling MCH and honestly half the time I don't see when it goes off even when I'm specifically watching for it.

    It could definitely use something!

    Among one of the things MCH falls short on, aesthetics is definitely one of them. Having a noticeable wildfire explosion would be a big plus, considering it's a 90 second cooldown...

    The difference between that and darkside is that wildfire only occurs once every 90 seconds...darkside is persistent. And even then, people seem fine with the blaze of glory that is fire IV, deathflare (both of which that occurs much much more frequently than 90 seconds) or even dragonfire dive, a level 50 skill from pre-3.0.

    not to mention that Darkside was also shown in images to have a completely different, better looking visual effect that they tacked off at the last minute.

    /ontopic I agree that Wildfire could use some kind of visual for when it goes off

    Wildfire's animation needs to be much more drammatic. Like Flare/Dragonfire Dive looking. It feels like most of MCH's animations are unimpressive. My biggest disappointment was Grenado Shot. Instead of throwing a frag grenade and shooting it, I was half-hoping we screwed on a grenade launcher attachement to our gun and fired a high explosive round at the target, making a big fireball that hit everything within 5' of the target. MCH is fun to play but the animations really put me to sleep compared to other DPS I've played.

    This would be incredibly helpful! As it is now it's really difficult to actually see the effect culminate and how much of an impact it had. It's excessively easy to lose track.
