Demolishing Rooms

The head of my FC checks in monthly for a couple seconds, is impossible to get a hold of, and there are no other active members of the FC with any kind of authority. I'm trying to demolish my room but it won't let me. I removed all the furniture but couldn't remove the wall paper, flooring, or ceiling fan. I don't care about keeping anything. I read that a Guild-Master can prevent people from leaving. Is that true? What else should I do?

You need to get outside your room before to demolish her.

1. Take out furniture
2. Leave room but be inside the estate/house
3. Open housing menu
4. Select "room"
5. Demolish

Wall paper/ floor / light shouldn't make a difference

Pretty sure the FC Master can't prevent anyone from leaving either but they can remove people even if they have a chocobo stabled or a private chamber built which wasn't the case previously.

So there shouldn't be a reason why you can't demolish it from within the FC house by the sounds of it.
