Quest, "A Time to Every Purpose" disappeared after activating.

I spoke to the NPC to activate the quest, read the instructions, and then the quest disappeared when I regained control. It isn't in my journal, listed on the screen, or on any of the maps. I know the quest should be in Mor Dhona, but I can't find it. Has anyone had this problem?

Did you complete all of Tataru's quests? Might want to check in with her if you didn't go out to delSol to help her out along the shoreline yet. Seems to be a common thing overlooked with the pre-req quest lines.

If this is where Tataru was trying to be an arcanist, I did that. This was right after. I turned in that quest, talked to Minfilia, she told me to go talk to Alphinaud, and the quest disappeared as soon as I stopped talking to her. I thought I had to go to Ul'dah to speak to him, but there's no sign of the main quest anywhere. I looked it up and the quest should be entirely in Mor Dhona. I could be wrong on that.

It says you go to the Royal Promenade, which is in Ul'dah. Did you talk to the NPC outside the Promenade?

Did you also go clamming with Tataru? That is a separate one after her ACN adventure. That is the one a lot of people miss:

The same thing happens with Hoary Boulder as well... there is a second quest to do after the first one.

After doing both tracks from Tataru and Hoary Boulder, then you go talk to Minfillia on the Promenade in Ul'dah.

You have to complete both tracks that branch off of Administrative Decision before advancing to A Time to Every Purpose, and each branch has you check in with her separately to finish the second quest in that track. If you run both tracks down before going back to Minfillia at the Rising Stones, you will actually be prompted to choose which one you are going to complete: Ancient Ways, Timeless wants or The least Among Us--you have to talk to her twice to complete each one. If you run them separately, you wind up having to visit her after each set before she will advance.
