Hooksets also work fine, you're just using them wrong - faint tug=precision, everything else=powerful.

5) I have 5 types of bait on me for HW fish because the rest I can easily purchase from the housing ward NPCs. Even during the big fishing heyday I could get away with carrying a dozen types of bait and lures. Stop blaming the game and do your research so you can stop carrying useless stuff.

Your insights are excellent and I appreciate it. A couple of points: I do use precision for light, and powerful for heavy tugs. However, I have failed to get the fish on numerous occasions when I'm using them correctly. I will do more research on this and see if I'm doing it wrong, but I'm pretty sure I'm doing it right. It works a lot of the time, just not all the time.

I think the "stop blaming the game and do your research" comment is a bit harsh and serious. I know where all the NPCs are to buy bait. And, nowhere did I say that I carry useless things. Please reread the post. I'm saying it would be beneficial to have a tacklebox to help unclutter inventory with our bait. Not all bait can be bought from a NPC. Other than this, I appreciate your post.

The impression of your post is that you are not having fun fishing. Most of your suggestions will make it less funnier job. The only thing i would agree with you will be tacklebox just for have more order and less bait space to can later use with more fish.
Also the suggesion for having reduced gp is just out of place. We are really now gratefull that have something in wich spent GP and that it helps on catching fish (wich came with heavensward update).
