180 accessories

Why are the stats on these so terrible? Like, I get the debate with the 180 other gear but it's like they didn't even try with the accessories. Who'd buy them? Is their sole purpose to be used to convert?

The 180 ring is 28 and the 110 HQ ring is 25 with a materia slot and the ability to overmeld. It's like 'should I pay a weeks worth of red scrips for this or spend 20k with a decent materia?' How can a ilvl 110 HQ ring be better than something 70 ilvls above it? The ilvl 170 ring HQ is 27 with a materia slot and overmelding. You don't even need to overmeld it to make it way better than the 180 ring.

It's like they weren't even trying.

Use these when gathering starred stuff to SB. Then convert to Materia.

It's one use for your Red Scrips after you have gone and gathered all the favors you need to for your own gear, or want to to sell.

I get that but the two (grabbing it instead of favor) still aren't anywhere even close to being equal, gil wise. You could buy way more materia simply by gathering favor material and selling it on the MB than you could ever think from buying, sb-ing, and converting these accessories. You'd still have to be farming either way. Favor gathering is soul sucking to me too but 3 mil+ vs. the accessory doesn't seem quite equal to me. Maybe I'm missing something. =/ I'm a blonde.

maybe if they had a little Gathering or Perception on them, maaaaaybe it would be worth it but.

I guess it's an option for people who don't know a crafter or have never looked at a MB in their lives.
