I always put my cohealer with the bard
Except on fight harder than ravana ex
(Alex normal is easier than ravEx)

My co-heal can take care of itself so I won't help him unless I must do it to prevent a wipe...
All Alex normal can be solo heal so if he die... I'm gonna step on his body and laugh like a Disney villain

You can soloheal all Alex NM (and Savage as well I assume even though on some encounters it doesnt make sense) but people in DF will ALWAYS mess up Nisi in A4 ^^

Also yea the bard I usually have around is a close friend and 2nd highest static DPS doubt I would seperate him from "good DPS"

Solo heal savage 1 and 2 yeah mostly... But you need a good group, no mistake and high DPS

Starting to a3s you need to add "lots of HP" to the previous statement

I did got a co-heal that run toward me to jump me and kiss me as soon as he got the terrible DoT
Needless to say that I ran for my life...
I won't double my heal because he is an idiot...

And since i didn't answer favorable to his need... He decided to run on the tanks...
that was messy and ugly...

How do you guys cope with the stresses of healing?

My co-healer is a very good WHM, so I hardly heal anyway. ;p But jokes aside (kinda), it helps to be doing content with a good group. They don't point the finger at the healers every time we wipe, we look at what happened and everyone's honest if they missed a defensive CD or couldn't make it out of the AoE in time etc etc. It also helps to have a group that's laughing their heads off every time we wipe, so it's never made into a big deal.

95% of the time I'm the reason someone dies, or cause of a wipe, regardless of what someone will say otherwise. So I never have to worry about being blamed, I'll blame myself anyway.

What I'm asking for here is advice. If things start to turn sour in a battle, I crack and will usually end up wiping.

Personally, my "crack" threshold is very high, and usually involves RL life issues. The game doesn't bring me a lot of stress, but everyone else's comments are spot on. Priorities. The one that's suppose to be soaking damage alive? great! Is there more than 1 person trying to keep meat shield alive and is THAT one alive? If yes, Raise asap, if not, Great! Are any DPS dead? If yes, will raising it diminish your MP beyond being a useful healer anymore? if yes, WAIT! If not, ask yourself if it's even worth it, aka, joker can't stay alive to save his grandma type guy.

If people are dying left and right it's a wipe regardless of what you do. Just do your best to keep everyone up.

If that's happening, have the foresight to just wipe it and reset. Better than running around forever just because you can barely keep yourself and a tank alive, you know?

Bit unrelated but man I hate it when you're doing a fight like Leviathan (not ex haven't done it), and where you have to kill the adds or it's a wipe, and someone always has to be like "just wipe it". I swear, 9 out of 10 times someone says that, it's never a wipe and the fight ends about 2 minutes later.

Wipe is almost guaranteed if the tank dies, or in the case of 8 man, both die.
