As to your post, I don't think its that Savage is too hard, but more the lack of content for midcore players. Part of this is that its a new level cap, and not much has been released for it yet. Part that they don't have the team to release more content then they do. In the latest release from them, they say they wanted a third alex difficulty, in between the other two, but didnt have the resources to make it. They also say they had less clearing Alex Sav than expected, so we should see it ease up a bit.
