Here's a little something I've been working on for everyone. I do hope you enjoy it!
It's my first thing like this so let me know if you like

The Ballad Of The Ahriman Queen

Hear ye! Hear ye!
Hearken unto my words and despair!!

For I sing the ballad of the Ahriman Queen,
A story of shadows and betrayal abound.
None shall bear her deathly stare
For her rancour is unbound!

Into the Deepcroft, they ventured four,
Thaumaturges taking the Black.
Abreast they stood, at the great crypt door.
Together, too proud to turn back.

Yet alone each felt the ensnaring dread
The moment they touched the cold, damp stone.
The darkness seeped beneath their fingers,
Macabre thoughts chilled their bones.

One of the four looked sideways,
To the man in whom she found strength
For this man was her precious lover
And had been for a great length.

She received the glance of confidence now
And together they pried the door.
A sepulchral wind blew as forth they trod,
Together, adventurers four.

Into the Deepcroft with fire and ice,
They carved through shadow and void.
Soulcounters and Voidsent they lay asunder,
Dantalions they destroyed!

They were a force of reckoning, a potent team,
A shard cutting through the night.
Soon, into the final crypt they turned,
Having suffered scarce a fright.

But in that fateful room lay dormant
A horror no mortal could gauge.
The lover peered into the coffin, she found
An evil, buried for an age.

Mayhap her thirst for knowledge drove
Her hands into the dust
She lifted out the ancient mirror.
T'was foolhardy, yet she felt she must.

She wiped the filth from the surface now,
And into the mirror did she pry.
But an abhorrent sight lay in the reflection.
Not hers but a loathsome eye.

Into a million hateful splinters
The mirror exploded in her hold
The sound of beating wings surrounded them
Echoed by a vile cry of old.

The Ahriman roared a soul wrenching scream
In its voice, the despair of a thousand condemned.
It faced them, jagged teeth bared wide.
The grin which would see them to their end.

Its wicked gaze bore down on them.
"Flee! Get out! Just run" they cried.
They scrambled from the deadly maw
Their only strength, the fear inside.

They knew they faced damnation now
For the Ahriman sought to devour their souls.
It would not stop until it held fast
One of them in its cursed gaol.

This was now their final test.
But the lovers ran behind the rest.
Nonetheless hearts pounding in their chests
He stumbled, fell, she came abreast.

She could not leave her lover here
So she turned to face it, "No!" She cried!
The last words she heard him say:
"I'm sorry you could not be my bride."

And as she stood in her final defiance
Ready to fight to the very limit.
She felt the knife plunge through her back
That treacherous blade poured out her spirit.

Betrayed, abandoned, she watched the river,
Crimson flowing from her chest.
Despair was her only ally now.
As she faced her doom, naught else was left.

Her final breath escaped those lips,
When all her world should fade to black.
The Ahriman glared deep, into her soul
But in that moment,

She looked back.

Through the deathly gaze she stepped,
Shedding her mortal tether.
Through chaos and eternity she fell,
Into the dark of the nether.

She watched the aeons pass at once
As she fed upon an eternity of pain.
She became the hatred, the malice;
Vengeance would be her reign.

She would bend the stars to her bidding
To see her judgement wrought.
She would command the wings of the Void.
From her wrath no shelter could be sought.

She tore open the bridge to the realm of men
To claim her lover's life for her own.
For his betrayal she would see him suffer,
No mercy would be shown.

But as she flew through the croft
She found him lying there,
A dagger lodged deep in his back,
His face a desperate stare.

She gazed upon his wretched corpse
With her single odious Eye
And she knew that moment the betrayal was hers.
For it was she who bled him dry.

Consumed by woe, she offered up
Her will and form to the Void,
Torn by bitterness, spite, regret;
An eternity she could not avoid.

Hear ye! Hear ye! Hearken unto my words and despair!

She wanders the Void 'twixt life and death now,
Seeking souls to enslave.
But it shall be you who offers yourself,
For the darkness inside you crave!

That's more like an epic, where is the chorus? (Epic, super long poem style(The Odyssey style) that tells a story)

Writing lyrics is super hard, I notice that there is the repeated chorus though that slightly changes through the song.
