Hotbars, UI, and Gear Sets reset everytime I log in

Steps: Any changes I make to my HUD, hotbars, or gear sets are completely undone every time I logout and log back into the game on the same PC.

- I'll equip the new Magic Broom mount to my hotbar. When I log out and log back in the mount is no longer on my hotbar

- I'll equip a new item level 210 Gordian Armet of Fending and save it to all of my gearsets. When I logout and log back in all of my gearsets have my old i200 helm still equipped

- I'll delete one of my old gear sets called "Paladin (ilvl)" that I don't want anymore. When I logout and log back in that gearset re-appears and has not been deleted.


None of the client-side changes I make are saving correctly. I am logging out properly and making sure to wait 20 seconds if I'm not in a Sanctuary. I've tried restoring my client-side data to a previous back-up I made. I've tried creating new back-ups. However nothing works.

All of my settings revert to a time shortly before All Saint's Wake every time I log out of the game.

Just to rule it out, are you launching as admin? Either off a right click or shortcut properties page.

When I went snooping around server side I noticed that My Documents folder was "Hidden" and everything was set to "Read Only." After removing these settings and changing the FFXIV launcher application to "Run as Administrator" the game is saving properly again. Thanks for the advice.
