Old (Rare) Crafting Mats

My server is rather small and people don't do things like the 2.0 treasure maps anymore (or even gather them). This is a problem for people who came late to making furniture (and need old items, e.g., ahriman tears), and will be an issue for people buying houses once housing resets. My question is (and I hope someone official sees this) if there are any plans to make such items obtainable through other means? Adding them to 3.0 maps? Or purchasable with grand company seals?

Then there's the primal crafting material drops. I understand ponies come from chests and TT cards come from the instance, while materials (e.g., the vortex feather) come from the primal, so undersized parties can't receive them. Could this be tweaked? Sure I can sync for old content, but finding seven other people who are willing to sync just so I can have a shiny couch is tough. And duty finder queue times for that sort of thing are atrocious.

As to the older map items I have no idea what's going on in your server but on mine people are buying those maps.

Probably to attempt to get minions.

Think because all want to faceroll undersize everything and I heard they don't drop in that case (cannot say for myself I only undersize to help clears or to 2/3 man stuff for the fun). Got in my whole "farm career" so far 2 Expanse Baleen, 2 Inferno Horn and 1 Diamond tear... most went to friends and to old FC though :/

On exodus there is an entire linkshell dedicated to getting moogle whiskers.

On moogle each comp is around 2M
Exceptionnelle the whisker which is 5 time worse...

I join a farm whisker group...
With 4 first timer that expect to get a clear...

When you put the undersized party option it's clearly write than you will never loot when defeating monster (either trash or boss)
Only the chest and clear will be granted

Oddly you still get card drops(I got a card when we were 3 manning undersize an ex primal) so I find it odd that the crafting mats wouldn't drop.

Those items are rarely put on marketboard and there is nearly no way to farm them as people just step back from party finder when it comes up to farming groups without being undersized. They all just farm ponies and tank mounts, but no way to get all those "old" items one needs for one of the few weapons with glow/effects or for all those nice furnishing items. And trying DF ends in endless minutes of waiting without a chance...
Why not put all these in a treasure chest as well? Just make it like: 100% gear drop + 10% pony drop + 10% item drop. That would be like 100% chance on 1 chest, 10% chance on 2 chests and 1% chance on all 3 chests. That would be fair and the chance to see one of those on the market would be significantly higher than now.

I mean, SE will start the housing reclamation timer with 3.1 but is unable to offer a system where there are enough drops on the market board to fulfill the new house-owners wishes? Prices will be like 5 times higher, thats what I fear - and that only in case there is at least on offer on the market, what I doubt.

On Lich most items are sold out and from what I heard from Zodiark, some prices are like 55,000,000...well, good job SE.

Agreed 100%. Some crafting mats have been dropping in chests since binding coil, and doing that would at least make it easier on those actively farming old content. Very few people still use duty finder for ex primals, and the ones that typically do are newer players. So on top of waiting in queue for hours at a time to have a minuscule shot at getting said crafting drop, you'll often be paired up with people that don't know the fight very well, if at all.

So if any community reps just so happen to be lurking, it'd be awesome if you could tip the dev team off
