Chat box annoyance.. any fixes?

So.... you can't move the chat box at all?

I'm trying to get a UI layout set up and I can't really make anything any smaller than it already is or my blind arse can't see it... and I *really* want to move the party list, but to put it where I want it and not have most of my screen blocked(the inability to put the party list in a 4x4 grid rather than a 1x8 column is another annoyance)I need to move that damn chat log.

But apparently I can't?

But since I can't resize/reshape hotbars, my solution was to move two of them under the chat box, but... alas, I can't move the damn chat box.

Both games run at my monitor resolution, which is 1920x1080.

Obviously, Skada and DBM aren't involved, and that Grid actually has room under it for three more rows....

But that's how I'm used to a layout so I can see everything without having to take my eyes off where I'm standing.

You can grab the General button (with mouse) and drag the chat box around.

yup. the fix for the chat movement is this in itself. the square frames that WoW has can not be done in FF14. you are stuck in that 1X8 column no matter where it will be placed.

I'd kill to put the LPs side by side and not in one column even. Drag window edge, auto resize.

The square frames are just cleaner. I don't need to see those buffs.
