Petition to merge servers

Hey I've noticed how under populated Coeurl is and figured if enough people agree that our server be merged with another to fix population problem. Hopefully with enough people agreeing we can make it happen.

The reason I came to coeurl was to have a less populated server to play in. we could use a boost though just maybe a few hundred more would be nice somehow.

yeah we dont need to be over run just a boost cause its becoming impossble to complete raids when not enough people willing to try.

Pretty much any server that isn't Gilgamesh/Levi/Legacy is dead. All the raiders migrated there. Until they add some sort of data center PF, or add some real open world contested content (Sky Islands I'm looking at you :/) people will just keep migrating, regardless of how many server merges you do.

Yeah i think if they stop char creation on those servers then merged them we'd be fine and also add the afk time back so that way they can see how many active people are actually playing and not afking for days at a time.

I oppose a server merge. As much as frustrating as a mid-low pop server is sometimes I'm pretty sure we're fine. The problem with this game is that people move to the bigger servers to do raids and other endgame content if they feel that the server they are currently on is not suitable for their needs. Basically what Arcticfang said. On top of that there are servers that are way deader then ours, we're decent. If you're looking to retain more people then you have to build upon the existing community and try to make it better and I see regular players do that. Things like player run events and learning parties for endgame do pop-up once in a while, they're nice to see. In short a server merge will not fix this problem of our population.

I am 100% against a server merge, sorry. I love Coeurl the way that it is. Join some linkshells and go meet people. Lots of groups out there, you just gotta get to know some people and network a little bit. I also know that there are plenty of people looking for a static as myself and couple others just spent the last few weeks picking people that fit in with us perfectly. Coeurl is cozy and has a wonderful group of people. There honestly has not been a single bit of content I haven't been able to enjoy on Coeurl, and that's the whole point right?

I think if they could "just add" new districts there wouldn't be such a huge housing crisis. (On more populated servers)
