Request: Enable Retainers On Lots To Sell Goods Unlisted On The MB

We freed up some space on our FC garden recently & I got to put my retainer there - mainly for show.

Then I had the idea of putting food & pots for sale there, for members to buy - especially if they're in a hurry just before raid. But there were two problems:

1) There's nothing to stop them being bought up on the market.
2) There's no reason to buy them from my retainer since they can just use the marketboard. If I lower the prices they'll be bought up by other players & it might crash the markets.

I realise it's not a serious issue, and most people wouldn't care. But it would be a nice feature I think if retainers on housing lots could sell items and have them unlisted on market board, that can only be bought directly from them. They could be discounted for FC members then but not affect the market prices.

I mean wouldn't it be cool if you didn't have to splurge on food or potions cause one of your FC crafters was selling them cheaper on his retainer at the FC house? It could also bring a lot more life in housing wards, as people shop at different FC's retainers (if you want to only serve your FC, maybe there could be a toggle to make it public or FC only?)

This could be neat. It reminds me of cooking up items for people for a Dynamis run in XI and since we were (mostly) the only people crowding around the starting area pre-raid it was a lot faster to just list the items in a bazaar for people to buy for like 1gil apiece than it was to individual trade a dozen or so players. This was mainly for medicines, and reraise items (those poor black mages...)

Maybe introduce housing market as a seperate market.

And bring a search board at the entrance of the housing area.
The search board then mark the house on the map with the retainer, that sell what you want, with a star.

i think it was more because of the limited space in the market wards, and everyone tried to send theirs to the Uldah market ward to sell stuff. Because nobody went to the market wards of the other cities to buy stuff, and that because there were only a handfull retainers while Uldah was full of retainers.

No we do not want to go back to the days of having to find the retainer that is selling the item you are looking for. If you want to make stuff for your FC members that is what the FC chest is for ^^.

While we're at it, can idle poses be added to retainers as well? They look so stiff, same for house merchants.

I'd prefer it if MB showed which retainers were placed on a lot, and if you actually went to them, you could buy from their listing, tax free.
