For the stone macro, there was some time ago which, instead, made a macro which casts Protect and also sets the level appropriate stone skill to your stone slot. This let's you use the pure skill for any sort of spell queuing purposes while giving some measure of not needing to have all stones in the hotbar. And having protect as macro, well, you don't cast it all the time anywa so it having this side effect doesn't much hinder anything.

If you say 'pls' because it's shorter than 'please', I say 'no' because it's shorter than 'yes'.

    Ha that could actually work.
    Thats actually a smart idea!

    /ac Protect
    /chotbar set Stone 1 1
    /chotbar set "Stone II" 1 1
    /chotbar set "Stone III" 1 1
    /macroicon protect

I made the macro for it and it works. Just need to set the 1 1 to the Cross Hotbar # and which slot. @.@

ps. You should throw protect/Mount/Limit break/Teleport/Return on a back hotbar. I already gave a suggestion for what to do with fluid/Repose and mount/sprint. xD

You can move teleport, return, ssII, and LB to a third hotbar, since you either don't need them in battle, or very rarely need them. I even have protect on a 3rd hotbar.

Also, you can trash repose. It's fairly pointless.

This is my crossbar at lvl60, I don't think I have any skills missing (the third bar is crossbar 8, hidden)

The 3 macros I have are focustarget, raise with party notice and repose with party notice.

I'll still post mine after for you, but you might want to try changing your targeting as well as I don't personally see any need to keep your healing target selected all the time. What I do at the start of a boss is immediately focus target it, so you always can see what it is doing. Then you just use the D-Pad up and down to cycle your healing targets, and then if you hold down R2 and press L1, or hold L2 and press R1 it will always cycle the enemies, typically always selecting the boss first. I found this works for me, do that to target the boss, do some DPS, press up and down to select the party and heal.

As of now I don't have problems with my crossbars and I don't use macros because I hate them. If we get any more skills I don't know, but it's ok for me as it is...

I would just remove return, stone 1, stone 2 and teleport in that order.
I honestly believe those abilities are rarely used to keep them there in content.
Seriously though you can either get a 3rd bar or just take a few seconds before dungeons or whenever you gotta go around to go to the ability tab.
Its annoying yes but it solves your problem.

I have macroed sprint and mount together.

    /micon "Company Chocobo" mount
    /ac "Mount Roulette"
    /mount "Company Chocobo"
    /ac Sprint

It casts mount where it can be cast. (And automatically your choco if you have it out as companion, otherwise roulette) and in places where mount is not available, like cities and dungeons, it gives sprint. The only time it's not working is if I want to cast sprint in mountable area but such is life. Usually this only happens while gathering anyway and I have room for Sprint in my gather bar. Mm.. and well, as of the moment this doesn't quarantee a flying mount, though the roulette line can be replaced with one that calls always flying one. Or skip that line alltogether and always summon the company chocobo. Hopefully we get flying mount roulette soon.
