FC Crafting Materials for FC Points?

So I was cleaning up the FC bank this evening because it was quite a mess. My FC has all 4 ships unlocked and all the components made that we will need, so I was thinking if SE could possibly implement a system where we could trade in the FC-only materials for FC points. Does anyone else have thoughts on this? The items I'm talking about are Celestine, Vivianite, Chemically Treated Hides, etc - basically items that literally are only used for Airships and other various housing projects.

Hold breath atm, possible they could be used in 3.1 hopefully though it is true at one point those items just come in excess it's a shame SE didn't introduce more to do with those item, I'm looking at you Dusk Leather, Iron Giant Core, etc, items with just 2-3 uses should really have more uses or else it just becomes a flooded market once it's gained in masses.

Nothing wrong with more Dusk Leather, and Iron Giant Cores are supposed to be rare procs - it's just that the Iron Giant Scraps are much more rare. Now, about those Toybox Schemata though.

I wouldn't be surprised if the airship materials become mats for other housing items or future airship parts though, and since I don't visit the <S17 areas that much I'd just throw those mats on a FC alt and stow them away just in case.
