Suggestion: special mount actions without the pet hotbar

Problem: There doesn't seem to be any way to invoke the special mount actions (missiles, fire breath etc) if you have the pet hotbar disabled. I play on PS4 if that makes a difference.

I can't use the pet hotbar because I didn't discover it until after I learnt to play SCH and now having it switched on completely messes up my ability to function in battle. I manually switch it on and off again when I want to use a mount ability but that sort of ruins the spontaneity.

Proposed solutions: Either have an option to show the special mount bar (like the one in Praetorium or the recent Halloween event quest) automatically as mentioned here, or add some macro commands for the special actions (there don't seem to be any).

Oh, the recent Halloween event quest. Where you couldn't even initiate a convo while you were on the broom - even though that used to be an issue that's been fixed for ages.
The recent Halloween event quest. Where you couldn't even dismount by clicking on the "mounted" status icon, you had to use the button on the special hotbar - not sure if that ever used to be a problem, but it certainly isn't one now.

...yeah, be careful with using the recent Halloween quest as an example. xD Even though I overall agree with your issue and suggested solution, as those things do tend to get frustrating.

Haha, well it would have to be toggleable so those who are happy with the existing system don't go crazy. To be honest simply adding mount actions as macro commands would be more than enough for me

There's the /petaction command. I.E. /petaction "Stay" or /petaction Obey should work. I believe there is also a /companionaction command but don't know for sure as I've never bothered w/ it.

The commands don't work (I spent hours on this in the past) but I'm pleased to confirm that this thread is now redundant as 3.1 introduced some hotbar changes which mean I can access my mount actions without needing to activate the pet bar. Hurrah. Divebombs for everyone!
