    Reconnecting after a disconnection

    Must we still take 10 minutes to reconnect a character after it got kicked out from the game? I'm sorry i'm pretty sure this is 2015 and it shouldn't be that hard to kick a character out when it tries to reconnect and not take 10 minutes of constant trying to reconnect and having the message 'the character is still in game blah blah blah'. Please fix this, this is one of the basic stuff. *Every* other mmo in the market has this but ffxiv. I wouldn't complain about this normally but its grating on me after having the same problem for a month. TEN+ minutes to reconnect.

    It used to be much worse. They used to not automatically reset for hours on end...you would have to submit a ticket to get it reset faster.

    Now it generally only takes me the time it takes to reboot the modem...which is usually the cause of my disconnect (TWC reboots me when changing my routing and it sometimes happens when in a duty). Literally only a few minutes of down time in most cases...get back in the instance and continue on. Maybe the constant retries is complicating it?
