Quite, the lalafell asked how the PS3 version doesn't play properly. Until May or so of this year I played on the PS3 and was able to run any content at the time, even farmed Coil for a bit (as much as one can without beating Twintania, anyway). 'People' wave graphics around like they are the end-all be-all of a game but some of us just don't care. My all time favorite games are from consoles that were old when some of you were toddling about. You know, when game graphics were measured in bits. I still play some of them. So I have to parrot the lalafell's question, cause all you've done is belittle them for not thinking like you and sidestepped the question altogether.

All I'll say is, a LOT of players are on PS3 and PS4. You might limit the number of subscribers with your wish of being PC-only. FFXI is closing it's doors on PS2 and Xbox 360; those subscribers (like myself) has already cancelled.

I thought seekers was already not available for ps2 in NA?

I have this game for PS4 too! But every1 looks so ugly flat and thin on it because of forced 16:9 TV-format - so no thanks! =.=

I hope PS3 support goes for 5-10 more years!

I work in gaming company and quite a few people there have picked up FFXIV on PS3. Literally 2 days later, they switched to PC because they couldn't stand the lag. Anyone I have ever met in-game that was on PS3 was complaining they couldn't enjoy the content because of bad loads. Are they all dumb too? Just because you are on PS3 doesn't mean the time for that console isn't over.

Just like a PC, a console will reach the end of it's lifetime sooner or later and right now the devs are using PS3 limitations to not advance the game further. If they want to keep people on the long run they will have 2 options:
- End PS3 support or
- Make separated clients for the platforms.

...in NA. Just NA. I quit the game at the time because that's the console I preferred cause screw Windows (and it was getting progressively harder to get Wine to work in Linux, I'm no programmer). Why not jump to 360? Cause screw Microsoft.

It did as a Collection release. Around $20 I believe. I never bothered with it cause... well. /\

Yes, it did.

True, but the Xbox 360 version was still getting updates, expansions, and add-ons.
