We would? Like what exactly? I mean they keep adding all types of things to the game? Like The Gold Saucer and Mini Games, additional minions and mounts... new jobs/classes... several additional dungeons, trials, and raids w/ each major update... Exploration missions... do I need to go on?
PC users got a DX11 update remember? It came w/ graphical tweaks specific to the DX11 client, like better reflections, enhanced SSAO capabilities, parallax occlusion, tessellation, etc? So if the PC got those and the consoles versions didn't, then how can you claim that the console versions are limiting the game for you?
PS3 can't hold Add-ons, increased inventory space, huge maps, more NPCs on screen etc... This kind of stuff affects PS4 and PC because every player should have the same possibilities. We would? PS3 is holding back this game. I'm glad 3.0 will be the last expansion for that system, so FFXIV can get more improvements.

They said the same thing about XI and the PS2, how storage couldn't be expanded and was holding the game back. When I joined you had mog house, mog safe and personal inventory. When I left there was... 6-7 different ways to store items. This is the PS2, far inferior to the PS3 and any PC then and now. People just love the taste of shoes. Graphics has nothing to do with the version interactions. There already are disparities, but Square is doing nothing about bridging them. The only thing the consoles are limiting is UI.PS3 can't hold Add-ons, increased inventory space, huge maps, more NPCs on screen etc... i agree with everything with most of this, but not the inventory space. i recall being told inventory was a server thing, being that all out stuff is saved on their server. being that its a server thing i don't see the PS3 holding it backPS3 can't hold Add-ons, increased inventory space, huge maps, more NPCs on screen etc... The inventory - the live intventory on the character gets synced to server every 15s or so. That's a lot of traffic. But problem is that people don't differentiate between live inventory and retainer inventory - they are two separate things and handled differently.
