    character bug

    hi,

i've played ff 14 for a few months now, since july, and i have been having loads of fun with the game too. Yesterday, however, a pop up from Windows popped me out of the game. (i've no way to describe it other than popped ¬_¬) a message came up saying something like "unable to detect direct device. final fantasy xiv has shut down."
so i gave the windows advertisement the finger, and re loaded ff14.

however, this time, my character keeps running, even in the character select screen. i've tried everything, turning auto run off, my character keeps running. pressing the Q button makes my character stop running for some reason. releasing Q makes the character continue to run around in circles.

i even uninstalled and reinstalled the game, but i still have the same problem. i need help -''-'
