Absolutely, but the due to the way the crafted stuff worked with the vit/str melding, it allowed for multiple routes to the same ends (maximizing str while staying on vit meta for hp in savage), granted some combination were better than others but it allowed variance that could be utilized based on player and team skills to further min max output, it also allowed for alternatives to accessory availability and a sense of horizontal progression that has been badly missing. While your hyperbole is an interesting conversation, it's hardly a good reason for further deconstructing some of the few interesting things left in this game as far as stats go. At this point they might as well just remove stats completely and just gear on the number on the item because that's essentially what it's coming down to anyways.
