Wha?? I used it for quite a while in XI just for kicks. Wasn't that bad of a weapon really, especially if someone ripped enmity easily in your party.

Yeah Company Sword and Espadon +1 was just a million times better lol.

You forgot Gluttony Sword while you were at it. :P They all had their benefits, due to their abilities. Company sword I can't really use as a comparison considering its a lv70 sword, and in ye olde XI, 65-70 can be quite a while; and that's if you found the sword for a cheap price, which usually it was not since even Lv75s used it (not to mention at that level the 'cheap' alternative was Durandal or Hrotti). Raw damage yeah Espadon+1 would win, but in most cases, enmity lost with StQ would be the same with Espadon, which then StQ helps with Cover/Acc+. I held onto my StQ even after I got Espadon+1 for this reason.

Yeah I just remember replacing it with Espadon after having glut for what seemed like forever... lol it's been awhile.

I was weird though, since I tanked in a hauby and some other more dps centric gear, which made for some good exp an hour.

Nah that's not weird, that was the fun of XI. My "typical" set for PLD was full DEF+ with Enmity+ for secondary, since I usually ran with ppl that did SC+Burst chain pulls. Beyond that I did and seen others do full ATK/ACC+, hybrids, gear swap spammers, or of course the full VIT+ cause of those "secret stats" rumors that were rampant. I even went as PLD/NIN during leveling before since the party called for it, couple THFs and other melee if I recall. Kinda miss that freedom. lol x.x
