So I've recently been leveling my Paladin and been having a blast, but as I was looking through weapons the other day I noticed that while we have the Excalibur, which itself is awesome, we don't have my favorite knight sword and the weapon used by the greatest Paladin to ever grace the Final Fantasy series!

I would be all for this. Actually, I would endorse ANYTHING related to IX in all shapes and forms. While they're at it, give us a Silver Dragon mount to ride, with Assault of the Silver Dragon theme >.>

i highly doubt we'll see it anytime in the near future i'd like squall's gunblade but doesn't mean SE will put it in -shrugs-

Well, she had high magic stats and had access to white magic in addition to her knightly abilities. So while she's never explicitly called a Paladin, I think it's safe to assume.

Plus apparently her skillset in Japanese is literally translated as "Holy Sword Technique."

The original poster is wrong. Celes is the greatest female paladin. I believe StQ is her best weapon in the remakes.

I instantly thought back to Final Fantasy Tactics but a quick search shows it has its history through the FF universe far more than I thought. So it wouldn't be out of place to me.
