Progression players have to have four weeks of A3S clears to get a Twine, why should players running the Void Ark be treated better? Especially when the Void Ark is a much smaller time investment and will have much lower skill requirements.
No one is being given special treatment since both raiders and non-raiders can do the content anyway, the former still having the benefit of progressing faster with their access to Savage. It will give non-raiders a sense of progression until all of those 210 gear gets replaced come 3.2.

Isn't it unfair on the players who have been wiping on A3S for the last two/three months to suddenly have their rewards devalued before they even get their first kill?
It's still far to soon to be giving it away for minimal effort, a large portion of the raiding community haven't even cleared A3S yet, which means that none of them have even seen a twine. If the Void Ark gives players a Twine for a weekly clear it means that it's rewards will be unbalanced with the current raid. I don't see anything wrong with the Void Ark giving these rewards as long as they are balanced with the current raids rewards. In the past these items haven't even been available until until the second half of the patch before the next raid is introduced, considering that these are being added half a patch sooner than usual, they shouldn't be so easily obtained. Currently it seems the period between patches is longer than it was in 2.0, going by that we still have 3-5 months before the next raid in 3.2.
As a note, do you guys really think that if a system like this would go un-nerfed for the whole duration of 3.1 if it was introduced? I imagine that in the later half of 3.1 SE would make it even easier to obtain these items by increasing the amount of tokens per week or reducing the quantity needed for each Coat/Twine.

It isn't unfair, this is how the patches have worked in the past, we've had 3 full months plus a month later with this patch, most groups have beaten A3 by this point, and the ones that can't seem to be breaking up or outright quit. i seen plenty of people in full 210 gear at this point. it is actually right on time.
Are you new to this game, this pretty much been happening since coil and every time the raiders come out what?! waahhh the casuals get gear that on par with me and takes less effort.
Umm they did te same thing to every hunter remember? ppl hunted there bums off to get blood marks to upgrade from i100 to i110 them boom they added it in ST like candy. Not saying it was right but SE likes doing this

No one is saying they must be treated better but making it take weeks on end to garner something will make it dead content from the get go. Because, let's be honest here, no one is really after the gear save for those who need a quick fill in or the glamour hoarders. I'd say in all fairness for everyone involved make it one guaranteed token a week for accessories, two for armor and three for weapon. At least that way those that want an out have it within normal parameters.
Again I saw that under the sun the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to the intelligent, nor favor to those with knowledge, but time and chance happen to them all.

I don't think they are adding weapons because of The Singularity Reactor Extreme, imagine that's going to give out i205 weapons or i200 with good secondaries. So if i'm to understand correctly you mean it would be an accessory/belt upgrade every week and a left side piece every 2-3 from separate tokens? That idea doesn't sound bad to me.No one is saying they must be treated better but making it take weeks on end to garner something will make it dead content from the get go.
