How much Gil to you have?

As title.

How much do you have total, how long have you been playing, what do you spend it on mostly? What amount of Gil makes you rich on your serve?

Currently I have 1.3 million (Lich) and I'm not investing in anything aside from a glamour here and there until I catch up with the content. Been away for a while so I need to re-familiarise myself with gathering, but judging from the rate of acquisition I'd imagine 1.3 million won't last me too long when I get around to utilising it.

As for what I spend my gil on.
I always buy minions, once my plush carbuncle arrives I will be 145/145. I own three FC's. I have a fully furnished medium house as my personal house. I have a private FC house next to my medium house on ward 1, its fully furnished and has two airships. I also have a fully furnished FC room. I have spent around 70-100 mil on furniture at this point. I will probably buy the house across from me when it get's demolished.

The trick for me, I never buy consumables, finished products, or pay MB prices for rare mats. I always try to find the mats for minions/furniture off of the MB. Then, I pay to have my items crafted or craft them myself. I always craft my own food and pots.

My FC is always selling content. We sold rax ex clears at the start of the expansion for 4 mil a pop. There were some days each merc in my group would make 7-10 mil. We are gonna totally cash in on SREX

Using mostly on teleports, glamor-prismes and so.

I see on MB that some glamor gear costs 2Mill+


ps: is there any meaning to have retainers keep some of the gold?

68 Millions and a personal large house.

I invest my cash in crafted gear ilvl 170 mats. I am lazy to gather legendary items hq.

I occasionally save a few million here and there, but I always blow it on glamour items that I use once and then never again. I could save for a house, but there isn't any that aren't 30+ million and I'm not interested in gathering or crafting. I'd consider rich to be 100 million+ I guess.

The only benefit for me personally is that I won't spend it on a whim. I like to go on shopping sprees when I have a lot of gil sitting on me :X

I've been playing since January 2014, but I started to "seriously" make Gil a bit before HW hit.

I have around 40 mil now made by crafting and gathering; I am saving up for a future house and the new relic (you never know).

I usually spend Gil to buy cheap mats that I am too lazy to go gather, buy crafter/gatherer's materia, buy dark matters for repairs and lastly teleports.

Just over a million now, most I've ever had. Hardly ever spend any of it, most expensive purchase was one of those private room thingies for 300k.

I have around 2 million. I have never actually tried to make gil, I only sell what my retainer finds during ventures, what I find during dungeons, and what is left over from my BTN leveling.
I spend on various stuff, I have bought a private chamber in the FC mansion, I bought a bunch of furniture for that, I often splurge on leveling gear for no reason at all, and minions.
