I must say I also see much improvement in connection, no packet loss since yesterday but the ping jumped from 60 to 160![]()

Similar to what we had before the server switch. Not that bad, if you ask me.
Can Orange ISP users confirm if the lag has gone or not? Either way, I'm not coming back until there's an official post about the problem being dealt with and the reason the problem came up.
I took a break from the game in Septemer and I came back last week. The game was not uninstalled, it was still on my SSD and I left it alone, because I knew, I was going to return to it in 2 months time. Now from what I can understand, the only difference with the Chaos Server is that its placed on a EU Datacenter, right?
Since comming back, I have experienced (I am playing on the PC):
1. When clicking the FFXIV icon, the launcher shows up, but the empty places where you need to type in your Username and Password, does not show up as fast, as it used to be. There is a lag of a min or more.
2. Whenever I talk to a NPC, it takes a min or two before I see a conversation bubble or a response from them. This means when I want to enter the my room, I need to wait few min, before it gives me the "Do you want to enter" option. The same is also for Leve NPC, Barber NPC etc.
3. Alot of ingame lag, whenever I am fighting and a telegraph is under me, I run out the instant it is cast, yet I am damaged. This has always happend, but only if I stay in the telepgraph untill the final second. Since I left the moment it was cast, the only conclussion that I can find is, that there is a lag.
Game is unplayable for me, I have sadly already paid for a month subscription and I am still stuck with this issue. I do not know where this issue is comming from. To be sure that this isnt on my end, I have installed, TERA Online, Guild Wars 2, WildStar Online, Star Wars: The Old Republic and The Elders Scrolls Online. With none of those games, have I experienced any issues, which inturn confirms my hunch that this is something on SE end.

Orange-Poland here. For me game is back to the state as it used to be,no more 1-5 sec freeze nor delays. It's like it was before moving data center.

When does the problem occur (e.g. only during specific times such as in the evenings?)
All day long.
Frequency of problem (e.g. every 2 minutes)
Pretty much every minute I will experience some lag. Enemies/allies freeze and I can't use skills until the lag leaves. Lag doesn't last to long, less than 15 seconds at least.
Game content in which the issues occur (e.g. dungeons, trials, certain areas)
Overworld, instances, crafting, dungeons, all aspects of the game.
Additional Comments
I've never had any issues with lag until recently and it's getting real old, real fast.
Thank you for your feedback regarding response times when playing on the recently established European data center.
A large number of players from certain territories have been reporting that they have been experiencing packet loss when connecting to the game using certain internet service providers. The investigation into this issue has been our highest priority and, with support from the relevant network company, the connection path to the European data center has been re-routed, as an interim measure, to address critical packet loss.
Although connection speeds to the European data center have improved, there is a possibility that your connection route to the European data center may differ depending on your country of residence or your ISP. Therefore, you may experience some changes to latency even if your packet loss has been improved due to the aforementioned measures that have been taken.
We are continuing to monitor players’ connection speeds but if you continue to experience gameplay issues we ask that you file detailed reports using the designated template.
Your feedback can provide us with essential information and the details you provide in the report template are invaluable. We understand that it takes time to file a report but it would be much appreciated if you could provide all of the necessary information outlined in the template.
We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
We hope you continue to enjoy playing on the European data center!
