We have received a lot of positive feedback from many European players reporting an improved game experience since the launch of the European data center. However, we understand that some users have begun to experience latency/connection issues over the last week since the launch on 20th October.
If you have yet to do so, we strongly advise all users experiencing any latency or connection related issues since the launch of the European data center to contact the support service of their Internet Service Provider.
In addition, to give us a clearer view on how widespread this issue is, it would be much appreciated if anyone who has experienced such issues could post the following information as a reply to this thread:
- Name of Internet Service Provider (ISP)
BT
- Country of residence
UK
- Reference number from your ISP, if you have raised this matter with them
Internet provider says connection is fine
- When does the problem occur (e.g. only during specific times such as in the evenings?)
All the time even during non peak hours
- Frequency of problem (e.g. every 2 minutes)
Constant latency of around 1 to 3 secs approx the game freezes while it catches up every 5 to 10 minutes
- Game content in which the issues occur (e.g. dungeons, trials, certain areas)
Problem is worst in dungeons especially when i play as a scholar for some reason or a whm
- IP address (optional)
