All I know is I have been having a lot more lag as of late...mainly over the past few days and always about 3 days before every patch.

1.Name of Internet Service Provider (ISP)
Comcast
Country of residence
USA, Seattle WA Connecting to NA Diablos server (for comparison) and EU Phoenix server (For my main character)
When does the problem occur (e.g. only during specific times such as in the evenings?)
All day long but more so after 6pm PST
Frequency of problem (e.g. every 2 minutes)
Pretty much every minute I will experience some type of lag.
Game content in which the issues occur (e.g. dungeons, trials, certain areas)Any and all content has delayed reactions for 1-3 seconds. Heavy rubberbanding, weaponskills not registering, telegraphs not appearing, cast bar is extremely delayed, and procs appear too late. Good or excellent conditions plus crafting skills delayed 1-3 seconds then show. Actions will randomly show "This action cannot be performed. Loading screens for retainers, marketboard and npc's have significant delays.
Additional Comments
I have been played since October 2013... 2013! And this is the first time I've seen lag hitting so bad in all areas of the game. This happened immediately after the DC move and has progressively worsened. No other online connected game via my PS4 has this issue and my speed and download amounts are unchanged.

Ok, so this data collection and fix was just for the European Data Center. Can we get a similar action for those of us having problems with the North American Data Center, as many of the people posting here are actually having issues with the NA Data Center (and not the new EU Data Center).
Name of Internet Service Provider (ISP)
AT&T
Country of residence
Los Angeles, CA, USA. For reference: Famfrit server.
When does the problem occur (e.g. only during specific times such as in the evenings?)
All day, but it's worst around 5PM PST or so.
Frequency of problem (e.g. every 2 minutes)
I notice a lag spike at least once every 30 seconds, sometimes more like 10. PCs teleporting across my screen, GCDs randomly getting interrupted, not being able to open Mogmail or go into my retainer (!), the list goes on and on.
Additional Comments
I've never had persistent lag like this before. Sure, there have been periods of 2-3 days when i get some latency, but this has been a constant problem that LITERALLY started as soon as the EU data center went live. I have the fastest internet connection that money can buy in the city of Los Angeles, and I don't experience any connection problems with anything other than FFXIV.
Hi!
•Name of Internet Service Provider (ISP)
Virgin Media
•Country of residence
UK
•When does the problem occur (e.g. only during specific times such as in the evenings?)
night and day
•Frequency of problem (e.g. every 2 minutes)
every 5-20s or so
•Game content in which the issues occur (e.g. dungeons, trials, certain areas)
everywhere
Players teleports around when they're walking.
It started after the release of patch 3.1. I've almost never got latency otherwise
Here, Spain, ISP Orange .. It's now OK, gameplay is nice.
So thank you very much ^^

When does the problem occur?: At the moment, nonstop. Gameplay is impossible.
Frequency: Problem has occured quite often (at least a few times a day) before the 3.1 patch, some days not at all, but SINCE the 3.1 release, the 90002 errors are CONTINUOUS. Yesterday, I managed to get maybe an hour of gameplay into the span of 4 of 5 hours of suffering with this error, nonstop
Today, every time I get connected to the game, within 30 seconds to 1 minute. I check my data transfer in the top right corner. It has now been showing 0 packets uploading and 0 packets downloading the majority of the time I get my character online. From time to time, the lag spike drops and a little action happens around me, with a huge surge of data that ranges from 2000 to upwards of 15000 packets received at once, then the data lags again, then inevitably, my connection drops, and the 90002 error takes me back to my main menu. By the way, I play on Playstation 3, if that helps at all.
Game content in which problem occurs: All, but especially high latency in towns such as Idyllshire (where I typically like to camp/sanctuary).
*Note: Although I live in the US (Virginia), and play on the EU server, up until this new patch 3.1, I have been able to play most days of the week, usually fairly smoothly, at times a bit laggy, but not just continuosly being dropped like this (at least not since I changed my network settings over to OpenDNS, which cleaned up some major issues I had run into with this game). I noticed this 3.1 patch has introduced an updated client (dated 11.05) the previous client being way back in June 2015, so possibly that did something to our systems? Just tossing that idea out there. I think the majority of my issues are from the new patch being installed. Before this Tuesday, at least I could play for a few hours without the dreaded "DC error" hitting me.
Character: Storm Cloudchaser, Phoenix server, EU Data CenterI like it here, don't make me relocate....I hate to move (you always have to spend money and inevitably repaint).

**UPDATE**
Problem FIXED (at least for me tonight )
Here's what I did:
1st, I had figured I'd set the DNS for my PS3 system to OpenDNS, using the manual DNS setting under Network > Internet Connection Settings.
http://community.us.playstation.com/.../td-p/31466216
2nd, I configured my router's port forwarding to ALL the following ports being opened:
TCP/UDP: 55296-55551 , TCP: 80 (HTTP) , TCP: 8080 (Remote Access) , & TCP 443 (HTTPS).
http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...06/blog/77559/
I ALSO configured the following 3 port forwarding rules I found on another blog for this error 90002, and those ranges are:
TCP: 54992-54994 , TCP: 55006-55007 , & TCP: 55021-55040
3rd, just configuring that isn't enough! You have to add the rules (be sure they are in) your router's firewall, because otherwise the program can still get blocked and cause your error messages to occur. Most routers that are current have it programmed so that when you add a port forwarding rule for gaming like this, it auto-adds the rule to the traffic rules for the router's firewall. If you don't know how all of this works, you really shouldn't be messing about with it, as you can seriously lock up your network and give yourself a migraine :P If you DO understand this fairly simple statement, please continue...(not intending to insult anyone's intelligence here, just routers and networking in general aren't for everyone).
*4th: the major roadblock I personally ran into dealing with all of this is due to the fact that I run several PC's on my LAN, and a certain PC I use as the "admin PC", meaning it's the PC I configure the network router's hardware (firmware)/software updates with, along with all the network traffic, port, firewall rules, etc. THAT particular PC I run Norton AV software on as it's local antivirus AND I also have THAT Norton AV protecting the network router (& thus the entire network in addition to the router's layers of protection), from intrusion. So, a SECOND firewall, that honestly, I was so bloody tired today (no Mog Kookies) that I completely forgot I had to add the EXACT SAME FIREWALL RULES & PORT FORWARDING RULES to the Norton AV software on THAT PC! Once I had all of that setup (*Note: In THIS case, you ONLY want to setup the port forwarding ranges in the Norton or other secondary host firewall, as allowing all HTTP (port 80) traffic could be hazardous to your machine's health, if you "step into a pool of poison and have no potions," so to say :P Just those same TCP/UDP & TCP port forwarding ranges into your firewall's traffic rules will do the trick. Once the second wall is allowing the game's traffic freely, you should be good to go. The only reason I saw a disconnect tonight so far after this fix was due to PSN dropping me for the 10PM(EST)/7PM(PST) planned , once again, maintenance. Maybe they'll fix the bloody thing this time around. One can only hope, right?Best wishes on fixing your game.

When does the problem occur (e.g. only during specific times such as in the evenings?)
Pretty Much every time i log on i get disconnected from the server
Frequency of problem (e.g. every 2 minutes)
it ranges from every 5 minutes to every 10 minutes to every 2 minutes
Game content in which the issues occur (e.g. dungeons, trials, certain areas)
Anywhere any part of content its really impossible for me to do any type of content without being DC'd
Comments: The internet person came out and restored my router back to its original state (When the game was working perfectly fine) since it was crossing frequency's with our house phone line and i thought that would be the problem but literally for three weeks straight it has been nearly impossible for me to do anything. My router dose not seem to be the problem because the game was working perfectly fine until the October 21, 2015 when i started disconnecting every 2-7 minutes
