Thread: Post your tanking derps and herps here!

Yeah sure we're the stalwart guardians of the party and we protect the squishies from harm but we're also human too and humans tend to derp a lot.

So this is a fun thread for all tanks who've ever derped with a little herp (or alot) to share their stories.

I'll start off, I was tanking titan and I knew something was a little off due to how low my HP pool was and I realised I was tanking without defiance after the wipe we had previously and forgot to turn it on... I noticed this at the last 25% of the fight, props to my healer for keeping me alive the whole time haha.

Using Fracture as an opener with a Black Mage in the group leaves me playing catch up.

My biggest Derp to date, was when i headed towards the boss fight and hit my sprint button on my mouse...

Therefore arriving at the feet of the boss with 0 TP...and no way to gain hate...

Hahahah AND this is why my sprint isn't keyed near my main combos.

First dungeon in ARR, I had forgotten to add my GLA abilities to my WAR bar before entering. Oops.

During the middle of the last boss fight in Copperbell mines, had a bunch of adds and the boss trying to squish me (thankfully heals were awesome!) and I hit Sprint by accident! DDs nearly caught up in enmity on the main boss, though one took a couple adds off me and died. Whoops! In the end we still beat the boss though, so it wasn't too bad of a derp.

My worst was when my wireless gamepad battery died right as I pulled the boss, felt like such an idiot as it had been blinking at me all night. Wiped...
