Agro in this game is ok during combat, but if for some reason the tank dies it's near impossible to recover enmity. Yeah the simple answer is "don't die" but occasionally it happens. It happens to any linkshell, any party.

What I'm suggesting is the addition of a rescue taunt, like almost every other MMO has. An ability that pretty much 100% puts you at the top of the hate list - useful for Backup tanks, and for freshly revived tanks to get back in control of the fight.

Even if it has a really long reuse timer, it wouldn't matter. A 5 minute timer is appropriate even. In FFXI the ability Paladins had for this was Invincible, for Dark Knights it was Soul Eater / Last Resort. In EQ2 the ability raised your hate by 6 positions in the hate list.

Right now to get hate back around 40% of a mobs health, you need to use about 3 provokes, two taunts, a warmonger, some disorients, and about 4 weaponskills before you regain total agro.

Death happens, and while recovery is possible, it's pretty lame when your main healer starts to R0 for 20 seconds able to provide no heals, and then suddenly recovers but the tank is dead.
