how to gather the duskborn aethersand??

Hello guys, I decided to open a discussion for clarification on an item in particular.. duskborn aethersand. I can not understand how gather .. usually reach 7/8 but drop VERY rarely! There are special conditions to get it?

I usually get duskborne from 2/8+ and dawnborne from 5/8+. I got leafborne from 7/8+.
As usual, it's RNG. There have been times when I only got crystals/clusters with 7/8... And I usually go after the hidden item.

There are no special methods for Duskborne. But they usually come from sub-optimal aetherial reduction like 2/8 to 3/8 Purity. Hence, they're the easiest to obtain.

Dawnborne require slightly higher Purity, where as Leafborne and Landborne require the highest Purity (usually from 8/8).

Unfortunately, the type of aethersand that comes out in the end is still ultimately determined by RNG. Rarity only changes the rate of each type of aethersand, but it never guarantees 100% for any particular kind of sand.

so to have a better chance of getting duskborn I have to stay on value between 2/8 and 3/8?

That's the best option. Not only do you remove the chance of getting other items, but your GP can instead be spent on Single Mind; this allowing for up to 3-4 gathering attempts on the node.

Exactly! So instead of just 1 to 2 items with 8/8, now one can get 2 to 4 items with 2/8 - 3/8.
