It'd be nice if we could use both gender's emotes of that specific race. More fun for all.

Male Au Ra with the cutesy emotes of the females.
Purrfect fit.
I don't mind weapon poses to be available for all, the WHM one would look really cute on my dragonboy. I also like the female monk pose.
This topic has been done before though.

PSO2 allowed you to use the female poses for male characters with a special command and it was great! Why can't we have one of the few good things from PSO2? D:
Given that almost every playable character model had similar physique, it works a lot easier there. Can't quite imagine male Roe to be physically able to sit cross legged or in a cutesy position on a chair with hands between the legs. We complain about hair clipping through minor equipment aesthetics. I'd imagine a lot of complaints about a Roe sitting as though they have a uni-leg or conjoined arms and legs. I'd love such a monster to death, but I also couldn't care less about the minor clipping we have now.
I'd be game, heck I'd love it if the dev team just worked on like a "select your emote set" from one of the menus whenever.
I'm a giant dragon and heretic sympathizer and I love character customization
See my thread about equalizing the heights for men and women of each race! http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/253435-A-suggestion-regarding-height.
I would give a lot to be able to use the female Miqo'te /pose. And any other emotes in general, since my character is kinda shy and most male Miqo'te emotes are a bit brash for my tastes.
Probably because everything would be trolled a hell of a lot more than it is now and that would take away from the aesthetic of their game. That's apparently what is happening with Dragon's Dogma: Online. Male characters can assume very cutesy poses and they dominate the scene when it comes to screenshots and the like because everyone's hooked on how bizarre it all is. Keep in mind that they don't even want to allow certain classes to wear other classes' gear for the alleged reason of maintaining a particular aesthetic, meanwhile it's perfectly fine to allows tanks or whomever to glamour themselves naked with snowman hats since it is practiced to a smaller scale - or so I conclude at least.
