There's 16 or 17 female-exclusive items that don't have male-exclusive counterparts. That's what people are worked up about.
Pretty sure we've been asking for more male-exclusive glamours for awhile now. There was even a response at one point that said that they'd heard us and they'd be making more male-exclusive items in the future. And yet, female + unisex is what we keep getting. Why isn't that enough? I understand the love for glamours, I really do. It's one of the things I derive the most pleasure from in an MMO. But having an agenda for the sake of an agenda, rather then asking for something that you personally want (example: May we please have X haircut for X race) seems like... you are purposely letting yourself be insulted.
I was actually hoping for no wings, but don't much care either way.It would be glorious if every single person could be happy, but in reality... everyone can not get what they want. Of course you can share an opinion on it! (I think the Kirin wings look terrible and I hoped for feathered wings/something more mythically traditional but I guess that's just too bad ne?)
We can only ask politely and get ignored so many times before people start getting upset with the situation. But complaining rather then politely asking/petitioning is just creating a thread of negativity that might be viewed less favourably by developers then you would want it to. And I am not singling out the person quoted, I am just responding in general.
I just thought that it was funny that in a twenty-page thread addressing the disparity between male and female glamour options... someone with a minor complaint about yet another female-exclusive glamour item garnered a response from a representative. The fact that it isn't dyable is a disappointment, since it is a cash shop item it should have such a feature considering its exclusive nature; that goes the same for any cash shop item that has never been available in game.
