I actually do wonder if they'll make Yda's outfit gender locked to females? The only thing that "feminine" about her outfit is her short-shorts and the Valerian Shaman's smalls (unisex) come pretty close to how it looks, but just not as short males though:

A speculation based on the statement that the hair would be dyeable. You don't dye your hair, but all hairstyles can automatically be recoloured via the aesthetician, so it would be redundant to say if it was an actual hairstyle, wouldn't it? ^^;
