You do realize the game is being overhauled, right. Battle is changing, zones are going to change. In a years time this game is going to be a lot different. Are you saying all those lvl 50's out there should reroll so they can experience the new ffxvi and learn the new mechanics?
Better yet, lets wipe our characters every patch.
And lore, you can't go back and do it after you're capped?
no i dont think that. but i would say alot will wish they had one class they could level up and experience the new game with. anyway my real point is why play a game where there is a big emphasis on leveling if it bores you?
What I have shown you is reality. What you remember, that is the illusion.
It doesn't bore me, but eventually it will.
When someone caps at 50, and maybe another 50, They've played the game, They've experienced the lore, They've done all the content. Let them get powerleveled if they choose too. They already know what to do.
Its not like this is the first mmo for alot of ppl. They already know how to play these games. There's not all that much new in the battle system that hasn't been done elsewhere and what is new can be picked up in minutes.

it hasent hurt me, it helped me quickly get to my friends level (he got me to 15 in a hour or 2) so i could catch up quick so we could level (he was 24). Of course i was swapping servers so i already had been playing my class for a while, so my story is slightly different.
It was nice to quickly get me close to his level, so i found it to be nothing but helpful. I also found out that with a decent group of 8 you can level pretty damn fast too. If their was a good search system that people actually use, they will party much more, not all of them of course, but it will get a good chunk of people to realize how quick group leveling is and how much more fun it is, so they will rarely bother to get PL'd (unless its to quickly get a skill from another class, though jobs will effect even that)
And after so long you cant really be PL'd, so reguardless you have a good chunk of levels you will pretty much have to party...and if you suck because all you did was get PL'd, dont expect for PTs to keep you around.
In the end its all about choice. you can choose to get PLd, the PLer has to choose to spend their time doing it, you can choose to ignore bad players who only want to be PLed and end up sucking because of it (hell we barely interact outside of shells as it is). So IMO its not really effecting somone who CHOOSES to play "properly".
I think it will affect most of us in the end game when a fairly large portion of the population do not understand proper party mechanics and only use one skill...if that during fights...
You heard it here first people, fighting a Nutgrabber Marmot requires the same level of skill as fighting Ifrit on Hyper!
Can't wait to take him on using only auto attack and cure!
A cure would be nice acutually!
"You mean you don't have a high-level going to be curing us and keeping us alive during this?"
doesn't bother me, you can still get 1 level a day in this game the regular way. also if it helps people stay in the game then i support it.
O I'm so mad the people like me trying to work my ass off to gain a lvl and there is people abusing of the system, hold on killing a mob , yay ding lvl 11.... o yes as I was saying this is not fair at all. they should be Banned everyone who is doing it right now... hold on killing a mob yay ding lvl 23, anyway to finish my post they need to do something about..... anyway just to update you guys I just ding again lvl 41 Nice ^^...
Its effected me in that my new character is a level 25 PUG, in a very short period of time with little effort.
