Dear OP,
I have yet to experience the same events as you told us, I imagine it wont be long before i do (after all, we're on the same server). However, I do see your frustraition regarding the matter. It's not so much that people are (for the sake of argument i'm going to say) "bending the rules". It's more the exploitation of the money changing hands which bothers me.
Like I said, personally I have had no issues leveling and finding groups so far. I am level 18 Mar atm and i prefer to stick to my own blracket (2-3 levels either side of me is perfect for me). But i agree, something needs to be done to stop this new franchise. If it was simply the people PL'ing, I would have no issue. But as i said before, let's think of a way to stop ppl making a career out of it

On the flipside of the PL wonder stories, we were out, in the back of the beyond, so far out of the way, you would be mad to go there unless you just wanted some peace and quiet. We were happily running around the camp, mopping everything up with our PL, and metal gear soliding through the aggro, when some little snot turns up saying they are farming and that we should leave.
It seems that people think that the ingame policies are thrown out of the window when someone is doing something you may personally disagree with.
Either way, we tried to remain polite, offering them some of our farmed materials for them to leave, and asking politely for them to find another camp, but no, they remained very aggressive, abusive and rude towards us, and ended up camping our PL for spawns.
We actually intentionally went somewhere out of the way, to avoid disruption of others should they wish to have an experience party, and still someone took it on themselves to hunt us down, just to be a douche. This is the problem with the community, is that when something is disagreeable, people think they have the right to be a vindicator of justice.
The GM we called soon sorted it out though![]()
It happens to some extent in all MMO's. If a player chooses to progress that way it's up to them, but it won't go unnoticed when they join a high level party and don't know how to play their class. The majority of players will choose to level the normal way and will be better players for it. I have a bigger problem with people using bots to progress.
No, as SE have stated twice now they don't have a problem with it.
What they do have a problem with is someone spouting terrible language and griefing players.
I thought I was performing my job as a troll very good... I'll do better next time...
But on a side note I'm glad the GM took care of your little problem, I had this happen the other night. Guy runs up gives a few of us a hard time. We were nice to this person after we stopped answering him he ran off...
you say they dont mind yet they are fixing it in a few hours with the patch ?![]()
