For those who aren't keeping up with the forums....This is being addressed in 1.19a. There will still be plvl but not where you can go afk.
Don't know why these threads are still going.

Did you read any of what I said? I'm not complaining nec. about how I hate PL'ers or PL'ing. What I do say is this game does not support enough people that actively want to group vs being PL'd. Get on a lvl 20 and shout for a group for hours then watch those same leveled people hop into a "power leveling service" when they could be partying with me. Suck it up right? Pay the 75k and just get 37 so I can actually group. I'm not 50, Ive been here since Alpha and have seen the ups and downs. Although I think the Leve fail "abuse" was bad, this is far worse, but again. If it didn't affect me getting lowbie groups, I wouldn't honestly care.
let new char PLed to 50 till the nerf...they will gimped lol...price of one pieces of R48+ armor is insane, eventually they will level DoH/DoL or level new battle class to do the farming..

Dear OP,
I have yet to experience the same events as you told us, I imagine it wont be long before i do (after all, we're on the same server). However, I do see your frustraition regarding the matter. It's not so much that people are (for the sake of argument i'm going to say) "bending the rules". It's more the exploitation of the money changing hands which bothers me.
Like I said, personally I have had no issues leveling and finding groups so far. I am level 18 Mar atm and i prefer to stick to my own blracket (2-3 levels either side of me is perfect for me). But i agree, something needs to be done to stop this new franchise. If it was simply the people PL'ing, I would have no issue. But as i said before, let's think of a way to stop ppl making a career out of it

On the flipside of the PL wonder stories, we were out, in the back of the beyond, so far out of the way, you would be mad to go there unless you just wanted some peace and quiet. We were happily running around the camp, mopping everything up with our PL, and metal gear soliding through the aggro, when some little snot turns up saying they are farming and that we should leave.
It seems that people think that the ingame policies are thrown out of the window when someone is doing something you may personally disagree with.
Either way, we tried to remain polite, offering them some of our farmed materials for them to leave, and asking politely for them to find another camp, but no, they remained very aggressive, abusive and rude towards us, and ended up camping our PL for spawns.
We actually intentionally went somewhere out of the way, to avoid disruption of others should they wish to have an experience party, and still someone took it on themselves to hunt us down, just to be a douche. This is the problem with the community, is that when something is disagreeable, people think they have the right to be a vindicator of justice.
The GM we called soon sorted it out though![]()
No, as SE have stated twice now they don't have a problem with it.
What they do have a problem with is someone spouting terrible language and griefing players.
