Do you genuinely believe this statement to be true or are you just trolling?

Care to share your evidence for this assertion?
Surely you didn't just pull a completely baseless and unsupportable generalization straight out of your ass, right?
You have to enjoy what a group enjoys in order to be a part of a group.
If you are the only person who enjoys something that requires a group in order to enjoy it, you only have three options:
1) convince a group to enjoy what you enjoy
2) figure out a way to do it solo so you can continue to enjoy it
3) suck it up and find something new to enjoy
Majority vote will always rule in life - a sad but completely unalterable truth.
PS: Got my chocobo today before the PL nerfbat!
I am going to make my husband a VERY happy man tonight to thank him for PLing me! =P

I believe if SE would just add a good search for partys system all this crap would go away.
Not everyone is out pling. People are and aways will be looking for a party to join that isn't out pling.
Don't be afraid to shout for a part.

Talk about a real reason (of many) that powerleveling potentially affects everyone, and you get trolled by those who support it. I only saw a couple posts where actual effort was put into.
Why am I not surprised? OP, you aren't the only one. Over here on Selbina sometimes it feels like it's the only thing I see, granted I am biased to notice it. PL party shouts in Ul'dah, PL coming into the camp our legitimate party is grinding in and giving us attitude, and all the RMT powerlevel groups are also pissing me off to no end.
Fortunately Selbina is more populated and we have been able to make parties without issue because we also had friends with our shell to come along, but as you all can see from OP, not everyone has that advantage. Reroll to Selbina, OP, if you'd like. I'd welcome you with open arms.

It doesn't. It shouldn't. It couldn't.

It doesn't really affect me, I got all battlecraft ranked (keep forgetting to type leveled) legitimately, but that shouldn't determine the players skill or affect another person's experience.
When it is patched, it'll only be patching the extreme exp values to the power leveling. There are other situations that make this system a plus. There can be at times a lack of a healer for the group's range. Why not have a LS friend come and heal the party from outside? That's technically power leveling, but this helps progression flow for players and can help them not feel stuck.
I'd like players to get as many 50's as they can if that is what they enjoy. Really the only people I see pissed off about it are people hanging on to the multi 50 character exclusivity, but again.. that doesn't automatically make the player skillful. They are just classes. It's how the player handles them... that is what counts. Not how they got them.

I've been enjoying being able to log on and PL my alt and other people which says something about the fun aspect of PL as I can go for hours without being bored and not getting any exp at all for myself, beats shouting in town not being able to form partys and generally not enjoying partying before 1.19.
8 of you in a party, switching it up every 30 minutes etc, gives me nice breaks to go do things like eat throughout the day without downtime.
I'm not saying its acceptable, but I haven't got bored yet where as before I got fatigue and bored within 5 mobs, not a pleasant experience at all.
They just need to fix partys, battle mode, add skillchains and an acceptable party search, for now though PL is keeping me playing and leveling classes daily, maybe tone it down slightly but don't get rid of it until the above is ready.
Oh yeah I've also met some lovely JPs while at it, and have been playing outside of my LS way more.
