You know how affect me? losing 10-20 party per day due to the fact no one know how to play the game and switch over to a 50 and powerlevel the party so i end up leaving because i wont be powerlevel.

This is the dumbest thing Yoshi-p ever came up with in this game -.- you can't find a party without anyone not wanting to powerlevel or get one.

I've seen it said many times on this very forum that in a PvE game, how does Power Leveling effect you? Atleast that is the defense of most of the pro-PL'ers. Normally, although I feel its a very bad choice in mechanics and SE should indeed do something to fix it, I usually don't feel the need to make post about issue's like this rather then just update the 50 million other ones.

Seem's like each update that has come out, and I've been here since Alpha, that SE finds one way to make my gaming experience crash to a halt. People power leveling in general isn't the issue. The issue lies in this. Which has been happening the last couple nights.

I'm sitting in Uldah and waiting for a group for my 22 CNJ/20 MRD, just hoping someone will start a group. After an hour or so I decide to make my own group. I shout and shout to no avail. Then I see this "Professional Power leveling Service! 1-37! Freeloader's will be charged." Someone in /sh says "75k per person??".
So, I sit, and I shout some more, sure I could pay 75k to get my CNJ to 37, but why should I have too? The person shouting the service fills up, 8/8. Now granted before this all happened I would have had a party made after an hour of shouting "usually".

So if you think about it, how does PL'ing effect my game play and enjoyment of the game? Its hard to enjoy something, when something you enjoy the most is being cheapened by people who would rather not party when they can pay 75k to hit 37 within the fastest time possible.

Once again, I do apologize for kicking a dead horse in a sense. Fustration has pushed me a bit over the top. Flame away and or yell at me for posting but either way, I feel better.. Kinda~
Honestly, PL'ing makes me smile. For this one reason alone: It means that someone is playing with me! And that means there is still a population in game! YAY for this! All hail SE!

Pl'ing is dying a little bit. Someone just told me the other day he shouted for a party...no parties...shouted for a pl....no one answered...he just wanted to level in some form at this point....went afk...and bam a party invite, a real full party 8/8.

So the moral here is, if you're looking for a party can't find one and then shout for pl, maybe you should just wait instead of shouting for pl and in a sec maybe someone will be like "you know what crap i need to level lemme start a party" or take the initiative and start a party yourself. Because I've done that, its not hard, in XI half the problem was no one wanted to take initiative or be a party leader or invite people. Take that initiative, don't just cop out to pay someone gil for pl, partying is free...besides repair cost lol

IMO if you have every battle class 50 you're still useless, and you better have a killer way to make gil since you will now have to find crafters to put materia on your gear and such. Leveling up a craft after a 50 or 2 is way more useful. Until they find a way to pl crafts I am not threatened by these gimp 50s. Many of them don't even gather or craft, and thus must rely on people to affix materia on them. Most of them are really lame looking on their lodestone page too having bought all the wrong guildmark abilities and such since no one told them, it is so sad-funny,

Well, I know in XI, PLing would just create lazy players. I can't count how many people I would have to kick from my party because they either didn't know their job or were just lazy and wouldn't play it correctly.

So I imagine, the same thing would happen here, if not worse. At least when players were being pl'd they would have to somewhat pay attention, here...from what I've read on these boards...that's not the case. I could be wrong though.
