Then someone should create an RP FC on another server, advertise on forums and what not. Maybe people will start to colonise there. That's roughly how the USA got started lol terrible joke. I'm british so we like to haze each other don't we america?

This is actually how Gilgamesh became a secondary roleplay server, though drama played a significant role from what I hear. The problem is still getting people onto the server and actively roleplaying. When you have an option already decided to roleplaying, most people prefer it to attempting to build a whole new community.

The cause of the 'split' was because 'Legacy' status. They didn't want to 'be behind' and felt that because Balmung had an established community we would 'ignore and push them out' because 'established cliques.' It was a spiral of mud flinging until finally the game launched and guess what? It didn't matter anymore for some reason. -rolls eyes-
